The undisputed champion of versatile signage. We route and print dense, rigid PVC signs for everything from retail POP displays to long-term real estate signage.
Custom PVC & Sintra Signs
When foam core is too weak, and solid aluminum is overkill, PVC (often known by the brand name Sintra) is the perfect material. It is a dense, expanded plastic that is completely waterproof, incredibly rigid, and highly receptive to direct UV printing. At SignForge, we use heavy-duty CNC routers to cut PVC into complex dimensional logos, sleek hanging retail signs, and indestructible real estate post-and-panel displays. It is the ultimate middle-ground material: professional, durable, and highly cost-effective.
Fabrication
How we build it.
Five disciplines under one roof — engineered metalwork, digital precision, and hand craftsmanship.

01
Structural Metal Fabrication
Heavy-gauge steel and aluminum are cut, welded, and reinforced in-house to engineered specs. Every frame is built to withstand decades of wind load, seismic movement, and coastal weather.

02
Precision CNC Machining
Automated multi-axis CNC routers carve intricate 3D profiles from thick wood, PVC, and composite stock with sub-millimeter accuracy. The result is repeatable, dimensional detail that hand tooling can't match.

03
Advanced Laser Cutting
High-powered lasers slice acrylic and plastic with flame-polished, ready-to-finish edges, and cut thin metals to tight tolerances. Every letter, logo, and inlay assembles cleanly the first time.

04
Large-Format Digital Printing
Commercial-grade flatbed and roll printers produce vivid, UV-stable graphics on substrates up to monument scale. Inks and laminates are rated for years of outdoor exposure without fading or peeling.

05
Artisan Hand-Finishing
Master craftsmen complete every piece by hand — custom color matching, fine detail painting, and meticulous finishing. It's the final layer that separates a manufactured sign from a signature one.

FAQ
Common questions.

- Can PVC signs be used outdoors?
- Yes, PVC is completely waterproof and won't warp in the rain like wood or foam core. However, in extreme direct California sun, dark-colored PVC can warp over time, so we often recommend aluminum composite (ACM) for permanent, unshaded outdoor use.
- How do you mount a PVC sign to a wall?
- Because it is lightweight, it can be mounted flush using double-sided high-bond tape, screwed directly into the wall, or mounted elegantly using brushed metal standoffs.
- Do PVC signs look cheap?
- Not when handled correctly. When we print directly to a thick, 1/2" PVC board and route the edges cleanly, it looks identical to a heavy, painted wooden sign, but without the weight or risk of rot.
